Our Story
Kathryn and Gordon founded Isle of Eriskay Spirits with the goal of putting Eriskay on the island-spirits map. Drawing on the island’s history, heritage, and culture, they developed a unique recipe and partnered with Badachro distillery to bring it to life. Their gin was first created for the local community, with the ambition of sharing it more widely in the future.
The future
With the continued support of our local community — and from friends, visitors, and admirers further afield — we hope to one day bring full production home to the island. It is our ambition to create not only a thriving craft spirit rooted in Eriskay’s identity, but also new opportunities for employment, collaboration, and sustainable growth. By building on the enthusiasm and encouragement we’ve received so far, we look forward to a future where every step of the process takes place on the island we’re so proud to represent.
